　　Part 1 Singing

　　1. Do you like singing? Why?

　　Singing-1音频：

　　Yes, I do, but only in my bathroom, I mean, when I was a kid, I was actually good at singing, I had a beautiful voice back then. Then I hit puberty, and my voice started to change. And all of a sudden, I couldn’t carry a tune. But, that didn’t change my love for singing, I just don’t sing in front of people anymore.

　　2.Have you ever learnt how to sing?

      Well, when I was in primary school, we had music classes where the teacher taught us children’s songs. The teacher played the piano and we just sang along. To be honest, I wasn’t that interested in those songs. Sometimes, the teacher let us sing pop songs, like songs from the Backstreet Boys and that always got us excited.

　　3.Who do you want to sing for?

       I definitely wouldn’t want to sing for any audience, like I said, I’m a terrible singer even though I love singing. I don’t want people to throw bricks at me. Every time I sing out loud in the house, everybody covers their ears and tells me to stop, I appreciate their honesty, so I don’t embarrass myself in a public place.

　　4.Do you think singing can bring happiness to people?

      It definitely helps to sing your heart out when nobody can hear you. I feel like it’s a good way to let off steam. You are letting out all that negative, pent-up energy in your system. I do that all the time, sometimes in the bathroom, sometimes in my study. I’d turn up the volume of my stereo and just sing along at the top of my lungs. Imagine Dragons is my favorite. Trust me, it is a wonderful stress reliever.

　　1. Do you or your friends like using social media?

       Yes, we do. I feel like we are on social media all the time. Me and my friends we follow each other on social media, whenever anything new happens in our life, the first thing we do is to post about it on social media instead of sharing it when we meet in person. We also go to social media to find information about people and things, we are so used to having social media that we just can’t live without it.

　　​2.Do you think you or your friends use too much social media?

      Now that I think about it, yes, we do, we just have so many social media platforms, we have Instagram, Tiktok, Twitter, Wechat, Weibo, Little Red Book and stuff. And I browse all of them one by one every day, it takes hours to do that and most of the time I’m just doomscrolling which I know is not good for me but I just can’t stop, I guess we are all kinda addicted to social media.

　　3.Do you want to work in social media? Why?

       If you mean to be an influencer on social media, then no. First of all, it’s quite a demanding job to be a content creator. You have to be able to come up with new ideas all the time, you have to keep posting stuff to hold people’s attention, to keep your followers, you are constantly shooting and editing things. It can be really exhausting. And there are so many trolls out, no matter what you post, they always have negative things to say about it, always finding fault with you. I don’t think I can handle that.

　　4.What’s the most popular social media in China ? Why?

　　Social Media-4音频：

       It’s gotta be Tiktok mostly because it's content based, which means you are connected based on the things that you watch, are passionate about or are interested in. So there's no social pressure. You can find whatever niche topic that you're into, When its algorithm figures that out, it super serves you content about that. Like, Tiktok gets you. I feel like everybody uses Tiktok and influencers are scrambling to get in.
